The Cursed Bell Eats Away at the Bones

The night funeral home owner Lin Wan inherits the bronze grievance bell, the paper figures throughout the shop suddenly split their mouths and shriek, “It’s hungry!” A joyous wedding turns into a funeral. A bride is laughed to death by the funeral procession, blood curses spread across the entire city, and a flesh altar beneath a century-old ancestral hall begins to awaken.

Each time the bell rings, it gnaws away at her sanity. Skyscrapers mutate into flesh-filled chambers, and the living become puppets on strings. To break the deadly trap, folklorist Qin Yu feeds himself to the evil force. His left arm mutates into a tentacle that coils around her waist as he roars, “Pour the hot pot tallow! The evil eye is at the bottom of the pot!”

To slay a god, one must first fall into demonic madness. **The instant she crushes the grievance bell and leaps into the abyss, wild laughter rings out behind her as flesh tears apart:** “If you’re going mad, then we’re all going mad! I’ll stick with you and gnaw through this world!”
