The Cancer Lab

Renhe Hospital's tumor lab, a medical research hub at Guanghua University, one of Nanhua's top institutions, has recently been shrouded in death.

In just a few months, one talented lab worker after another has fallen: young doctor Chen Min, visiting physician Lin Hao, doctoral student Liu Yang... They successively developed rare cancers, including pancreatic cancer and synovial sarcoma, and their lives were cut short.

The sole survivor, research assistant Lin Wei, had been expelled from Professor Qin Mingyuan's research group. As she connected the names on the list of the dead, she realized the pattern could not be a coincidence: something in the lab was deadly.

The hospital called it “purely coincidental.” A key storage cabinet mysteriously vanished, the surveillance cameras all failed, and Qin Mingyuan swiftly disbanded the team to erase the evidence.

Labeled a “traitor,” the survivor joins forces with grieving families and conscientious medical professionals to pursue the truth within an invisible web. They are fighting not only lethal reagents and management failures, but also a chain of vested interests willing to do anything to protect its reputation.

Deadly threats follow them at every turn, key witnesses die under mysterious circumstances, and the mastermind closes in. Can Lin Wei expose the crimes hidden beneath the white coats and give the dead justice before the “cancer” spreads?
