Penicillin, the Life-Saving Medicine

The bombing of the munitions factory in 1941, the central mission of escorting half a case of penicillin, and the urgency of the situation are the core images of the title. They appear twice in the synopsis, in Zhou Dayong's final request and as a symbol in the ending, underscoring the memories they carry, the mark of sacrifice, a trust that crosses the boundaries of hatred, and a metaphor for time and the passing of life. A lifesaving drug.
