Luo Cheng, the Cold-Faced Spearman

The late Sui and early Tang period (612–624 AD): The imperial court is rotten. Emperor Yang launches three campaigns against Goguryeo and orders the construction of the Grand Canal, leaving the people in desperate straits. The martial world is fractured. The Righteous Alliance, including Shaolin, Wudang, Emei, the Qinghe Luo family, and the Licheng Qin family, protects order in the martial world. Evil factions such as the Netherworld Cult, Blood Shadow Sect, and Blackwater Gang rise amid the chaos, seeking to swallow up the martial world and meddle in court affairs. Neutral forces, including the Tang Clan, Beggars’ Guild, and Jiangnan Thunderbolt Hall, navigate between them. Together, these elements create a world where turmoil at court and conflict in the martial world intertwine.
