The Yellow Springs Grievance Office

Top forensic pathologist Lu Pan was silenced after exposing a series of bloody murders orchestrated by the powerful. His soul entered the Underworld, only to find the cycle of reincarnation in ruins: evil ghosts bribed the ghost guards and roamed free in new lives, while innocent souls were falsely condemned and sank into the Blood River! He himself was cast into the Purgatory of Unjust Deaths for “disrespect.” At the end of his rope, the [Mirror of Justice System] awakened: “If the Underworld has no justice, then I'll establish order anew!” Lu Pan fled to the desolate Three Forks of the Yellow Springs. Using his own wronged soul as a lure and the resentment of countless ghosts as his foundation, he built the [Yellow Springs City], a stronghold set against both the living and the dead! Within the city, he erected a Stele of Vindication and opened the Hall of Righteousness, wielding the System's three great powers: Eye of Insight: See through lies spanning the ages, leaving nowhere for ghosts and monsters to hide! Trace of Cause and Effect: Cross the boundaries between yin and yang to seek out conclusive evidence that was thought lost forever! Yin-Yang Pass: Bring wronged souls back to the mortal world and take the fight to the true culprit! Yue Fei's Spear of the Divine Spring rang out; Yu Qian's unwavering loyalty blazed bright. Han Xin, Yuan Chonghuan… heroes whose names had been tarnished in the history books gathered beneath the city walls! Lu Pan held court to try the ghost officials, returned to the living world to solve old cases, and burned every demon and monster to ash in the fires of karma. But the Underworld was enraged, and the King of Hell led the expedition himself! Heaven, too, decreed the iron law of “balance”: “Wronged souls are fuel for the Heavenly Dao!” Holding the righteous spirit of ten thousand souls, Lu Pan looked to the heavens and demanded, “If gods and Buddhas are unjust, what use is reincarnation? Today, I, Lu Pan, stand atop the walls of Yellow Springs City, ” Open court! Try the King of Hell! Pass judgment on the myriad heavens! With the righteous fury of all living beings, forge an age of clarity anew!
