Synopsis

A human-skin umbrella! Just as the name suggests, it’s made from human skin. Before the skin is removed, the “material” must soak in a medicinal bath for three full nights. Then the skin can be peeled off with ease. The intact skin is cut into several pieces and soaked in a specially prepared solution for two days. Only after it has been dried in the sun can the crafting begin. A human-skin umbrella is impervious to sunlight. The better the “material’s” skin, the better the user’s skin will be in the future. Everyone in our village needs their own human-skin umbrella when they turn eighteen, to shield themselves from the sun. I was only three months away from turning eighteen. My parents called every day, urging me to come home, but I kept putting them off, claiming I hadn’t found good “material” yet. Then one day, I accidentally overheard my best friend talking to someone in the stairwell. Only then did I pick up my phone and call my parents. “Let’s start preparing next Tuesday!”

Looking for books like *The Three Corpse Language*. Please recommend really terrifying, realistic horror novels. No ghost grooms or ghost brides, and no protagonists who've been overpowered since childhood. Thanks 🙏

The Scariest Novel Ever, Nothing Less

Are there any novels that could scare me to death? If I die of fright, I’ll personally bless whoever recommended it and the author. If it isn’t scary, I’m going to complain, hahaha!
