The Heart's Trial Reflects the Realms: The Koi Deity's Defiance of Fate

Mo Wuchen, a high school senior, dies unexpectedly and awakens memories of his past life as a divine lord in the cultivation world. Earth's spiritual qi revival is actually the projection of a “trial of the heart” from the cultivation world. He is gifted with the power to defy fate and change his destiny. Though cold and solitary, he seems blessed with extraordinary luck.

Strange phenomena erupt across the globe: a blood moon hangs in the sky, and ancient ruins awaken. Mo Wuchen comes to in a morgue and unexpectedly obtains the “Heart-Trial Reflected World” System, unlocking heart-trial instances and glimpsing the truth of how his beloved betrayed him in his past life.

He awakens the “Eyes of Innocence,” sees through the disguise of the aloof Empress Feng Qingyao, and catches the attention of the bewitching fox spirit Su Jiuli. The two heroines grow closer to him over time, and a love triangle quietly takes shape.

With an innocent heart, he overcomes trials; with a wicked charm, he overturns the rules. As reality and the cultivation world intersect, he ascends step by step and protects all living beings with a stern exterior and a tender heart.

From school-life instances to a night banquet in Qingqiu, from the ruins of the Dragon Palace to a debate on the Dao in Kunlun, he uses the power of the heart trials to turn the world upside down and uncover mysteries left unresolved in his past life.

Once a rebel, he is now the savior. The wheel of fate begins anew, heaven and earth become a chessboard, and he moves the pieces to reverse cause and effect. At the peak of his looks and coldly aloof, he still moves all living beings with his innocent heart.

From Earth to the cultivation world, from the mortal realm to the Yellow Springs, he controls fate through the Heart-Trial Reflected World and rewrites the cycle of reincarnation spanning all ages.

In the end, he will transform Earth into a trial ground for surviving tribulations, reshape the rules of the heart trials, and become an existence revered by all.
