Who Says Earth Is a Sphere? Tear Down the Wall and See: It’s Flat

Earth is a flat disc surrounded by an “Ice Wall,” with the North Pole at its center and the South Pole marked by an imposing, metallic-looking wall of ice. The “Sky Dome,” made from secretions of unknown organisms, covers the land and seals it off from outer space. The “Dome Society” uses electromagnetic memory scramblers and fabricated satellite data to keep up the lie that “Earth is a sphere.” Its private forces are equipped with anti-gravity snowmobiles and “electromagnetic pulse rifles,” and specialize in eliminating anyone who discovers the truth and gets close to the Ice Wall. After the male lead breaks through the wall, cracks in the Sky Dome unleash bone-eating fungi, while a plan to retrieve the Observer’s experimental subjects pushes humanity toward doomsday.

Main Characters

Male Lead: Chen Feng, 32, a former polar expedition mechanic who was fired after his teammates “disappeared.” He can assemble an electromagnetic cannon from discarded hydraulic pipes and polar battery packs. Whenever he modifies a piece of equipment, he leaves his “mechanic’s signature”: his teammates’ identification numbers engraved on the casing in tungsten steel. His core motivation is to use equipment he modified with his own hands to smash open the truth concealed by the Dome Society.

Female Lead: Lin Xia, 28, an astronomical data analyst and former member of the Dome Society. By calculating deviations in stellar paths, she deduced the fatal flaw in the Sky Dome’s energy cycle. Whenever she has a crucial formula in hand, she draws a tiny triangle on the edge of her calculations in red marker, her father’s engineering mark. She is calm enough to correct the formula’s parameters while running from her pursuers.
