Warm Sprouts in the 1980S: The Heir’s Childhood Friend Warms Her Heart

In 1983, in Linjia Village, a plant spirit was reborn as a baby girl named Lin Xiaoya after surviving a tribulation. The little curl on her forehead was especially eye-catching. She had no idea that the cool, aloof little boy she'd stumbled into would one day become Shen Yu, the richest man in Jin City, and spend his life caring for her. Shen Yu, who had autism, broke his vow never to smile the moment he met Xiaoya. Thanks to Xiaoya's “good fortune,” the Lin family went from having enough to eat to becoming wealthy. And with her help, Shen Yu emerged from his isolation, growing from a quiet child into a young man who would protect her at all costs. Through the years, he was her childhood sweetheart, and she was his light. As “Little Curly” blossomed into a graceful young woman and the withdrawn boy became a business magnate, the protection that began in the 1980s ripened into a lifetime together, warm and steadfast. “From the day I met you, my hands have held up your light alone.”
