Honkai: Star Rail Fanfiction: An Arbiter’s Daily Life

[Original characters + standalone plot] I'll try to keep the characters in character, though the story includes some personal interpretations. (I'm a lore enthusiast, so some of my takes are based on the game's text.) The main story's direction will generally remain unaffected. One female lead (maybe... I think she counts as the female lead?) (I'm currently revising the wording...) That day, amid everyone's farewells, a sword-bearing Daoist followed an Emanator out of the silent expanse and set foot among the stars for real... Years later, as the "first" Arbiter to step into the public eye, the Daoist's name would be sung throughout the cosmos: "Xuxuan," meaning a Daoist who walks among ruins. People say that chanting this name will bring balance. When the world approaches an irreversible end, someone will always remember the legend and softly call out that name. Then the Daoist Canon will pierce the heavens and judge the "imbalance" of civilizations. Perhaps this is not salvation, but the Daoist scriptures sung above the ruins will still bring a rare measure of "balance" to a world covered in wounds. While the nameless gather their strength for every possibility, and before the final hour arrives, in that chaotic age swept up in a war between gods, when the "Arbiters" had stepped onto the stage yet still could not change anything, this was the only hope able to appear before the people. As it was said when the Trial of Balance began: "For the balance of all worlds... show your strength, and we shall judge. The strong will be granted opportunity, while the weak will be given a chance to catch their breath." People firmly believe that as long as the Daoist continues to walk the world, hope will remain in the cosmos! Just as it once did in the place she called home...
