Honkai: Star Rail: The Chat Calls Me Their Godfather

Shocking! An anime adaptation of the nation’s beloved (?) game Honkai: Star Rail is about to air! And the reason behind it is...

Live comments:

• “A series decades in the making!”

• “Grandpa, the anime you followed as a kid is finally getting a new season!”

Before long

After the game’s developer, Mahayu, made the official announcement, players everywhere set their alarms and flooded in right on time to watch the first episode.

They had barely finished watching the OP when players started asking: Who’s this white-haired kid we’ve never seen before?

Who is this white-haired kid?! Good question. Keep those comments coming, and Aha will give you a like!

The white-haired kid, whose real name is Xia Lulu, is a native-born... fugitive from the Denizens of Abundance.

As for why she’s on the run, don’t ask just yet!

After Aha glanced at her, no, after openly staring her down, she gained her first share of [Elation] divine power: the ability to see the anime’s live comments!

Glaring death at the incompetent envoy Xia Lulu, who refuses to go to work, Aha threatened her:

“If you don’t start causing trouble, I’ll send your location to the Xianzhou Alliance!”

Faced with threats from her unscrupulous boss Aha, Xia Lulu could only get back to work with a long face. Using conclusions she’d drawn from spying on the live comments, she made her way toward the Astral Express crew, itching to stir up trouble.

“So you’re saying that, although you have the blood of the Wingweavers and the Borisin flowing through your veins and wear a mask of the Mournful Actors, you’re actually a good Nameless?”

The Conductor, Pom-Pom, asked uncertainly.

“That’s right. Exactly.”

Xia Lulu nodded furiously.

After Xia Lulu finally got aboard

Wait, where is this train going? Xianzhou Luofu?

Driver! Stop the train!! I want to get off!
