I Fell in Love with You in a Time That Defied Morality

The death knell rang as torrential rain poured down. The world of renowned dancer Xu Wanrou collapsed when she received the devastating news that her husband, Shen Duo, had died in a car accident. At the funeral, a stranger named Liang Yu stepped forward and averted the crisis of a coffin being knocked over. Yet the unfathomable despair and pain in his eyes were exactly like Shen Duo's.

This young intruder entered Xu Wanrou's life with an eerily precise familiarity. He knew her preferences, copied Shen Duo's habits, and even blurted out the intimate nickname shared only by Shen Duo and her, “Little Moon,” in a moment of passion. A figure wearing her late husband's old robe in the villa at night sent her spiraling into a nightmarish, absurd ordeal.

On one side was the grief of losing her husband, sharp enough to pierce her to the bone. On the other was the fatal stirrings of a deep-seated desire, awakened by this “ghost” who was both strange and familiar. Xu Wanrou was torn between resisting with reason and surrendering to her emotions. When she seized the damning proof that “Liang Yu” blurted out at the height of their passion and forced him to reveal the horrifying truth of their “switched souls,” forbidden ethics and desperate love consumed her completely.

This is a forbidden love at the edge of an abyss, a deadly dance on a knife's edge between two displaced souls. Can Xu Wanrou and Shen Duo, trapped in a young body, find a glimmer of light amid the narrow divide between redemption and destruction? When every disguise is torn away and their last shelter is stained with blood, what price will they pay for the “rebirth” they choose?
