Laugh-Out-Loud Journey to the West: From the Start as a Stone

This is all made-up nonsense. Work-slave Sun Kong wakes from a nap to find he's become the immortal stone atop Flower-Fruit Mountain, destined to be trapped for five hundred years! He's even bound to a [Sign-In Cultivation System], which makes him stronger with every daily check-in. Seeing that the Tathagata has his future all neatly arranged, he decides there and then: this plot has to go off the rails! So when the Handsome Monkey King bursts from the stone, there's no trace of innocence in his eyes, only the cunning of a modern soul. On his quest for immortality, he sneaks a sign-in at Patriarch Bodhi's seat; in the Dragon Palace, he grabs the Golden Cudgel and leaves a five-star review at the original site of the Sea-Calming Needle; at the Heavenly Court, he slacks off at work while signing in across all thirty-three levels of Heaven... Even the one trapped under Five-Finger Mountain is just his clone. His true self escaped ages ago! Five hundred years later, Tang Monk finds a furry-faced monk roasting mushrooms with Samadhi True Fire and asking him, “Want a skewer?” Sun Wukong: “Journey to the West? Not going. Monk, learn how to sign in with me. I'll make sure you live forever and enjoy every minute!” All the gods and Buddhas in Heaven: ??? Why isn't this monkey following the script! A hilarious cultivation adventure about a monkey king who turns the Journey to the West upside down with daily sign-ins!
