The System Forces Me to Cultivate Demonic Arts, While the Righteous Beg Me to Marry Into Their Family

When righteous prodigy Ling Yun accidentally binds himself to the “Demon Sect System” while breaking through, every mission involves things like stealing righteous sects’ secret manuals, abducting saintesses, and destroying temples. Forced to cause trouble under the identity of a “demonic overlord,” he repeatedly ends up helping the righteous sects resolve crises by sheer coincidence, until elders from all the immortal sects compete to have him marry into their families.

At the much-anticipated marriage proposal gathering on Jade Maiden Peak, the heaven-blessed Ling Yun intends to ask his childhood sweetheart, Lin Qingxue, to marry him. But at the crucial moment when he is breaking through a bottleneck, he accidentally binds himself to the “Demon Sect System.” Its very first mission is earth-shattering: “Force a kiss on Saintess Lin Qingxue.” Under the System’s coercion, Ling Yun is forced to make an improper advance on Lin Qingxue in front of everyone. By sheer coincidence, however, his kiss shatters the “Curse of Heartlessness” inside her, causing the aloof saintess to undergo a complete change in temperament. From then on, she clings to him, convinced he is a heartless man who seduced her and then abandoned her. Unable to explain himself, Ling Yun is misunderstood and hunted by the righteous, leaving him no choice but to follow the System’s ridiculous missions down a farcical path of demonic cultivation. While dodging Lin Qingxue and the righteous cultivators on his tail, he also has to complete all sorts of bizarre missions from the System, such as stealing the Qingyun Sword Sect’s treasured manual, the Taiji Sword Manual. Instead, he accidentally foils a scheme by evil cultivators, and the clueless sect leader praises him as a “young hero.” In a cycle of “being forced to do evil” and “accidentally doing good,” Ling Yun’s name as a “demonic overlord” spreads far and wide. He can only suffer in silence, while the System’s sarcastic comments keep challenging the righteous world’s ideas about “demonic cultivators.”
