I Got Into the Civil Service with the AI in My Head

“Wenxin” was no miraculous gift from beyond the heavens or product of magic. Its birth was marked by the chill of realism and the lingering warmth of idealism. It was the sole creation of “Oracle Project,” a top-tier national research initiative that had been terminated. The project aimed to devote the nation’s full strength to creating the perfect AI adviser for national governance. Its training data encompassed nearly the entire body of human knowledge: laws and regulations, historical classics, economic models, engineering blueprints, psychological theories, and vast archives of unpublished internal government case files.

However, because of its immense potential power and uncontrollable nature, “Oracle Project” was abruptly halted by the country’s top officials, and all its results were ordered destroyed. A genius scientist involved in the project, who was terminally ill, couldn’t bear to see this creation, which could truly serve the people, vanish. At great risk, he compressed Wenxin’s core code into a tiny biocompatible chip and designed a mechanism to find a Host with a specific ethical baseline. Our protagonist, Lin Mo, became the chosen one by a twist of fate.
