The Fate of a Vicious Concubine's Daughter

On the night my daughter married the heir of the Marquis of Anguo, the concubine-born girl who had come to see her off actually slept with the heir.

She knelt in my daughter's bridal chamber and explained, "The heir drank too much and mistook me for you."

"Sister, why not grant me a length of white silk, so I can die to protect both our families' reputations?"

My kindhearted daughter was at a loss, tears streaming down her face. Outside the door, I seethed with hatred.

In my previous life, when I was gravely ill, this concubine-born girl forced me to drink poison. Then she sneered and told me:

"Mother, I poisoned your daughter the very same way, and that's how I became the heir's principal wife. You won't blame me, will you?"

Now, I had been reborn to the moment her vicious plan began.

So I pushed the door open.

"I never thought a daughter born to a concubine in the Wang family would be so chaste. Go ahead and die without worry. I'll give you a grand funeral, and I'll even give your aunt the position of principal wife."

"Guards, take Qinghuan back to the general's manor and prepare three feet of white silk for her."
