Meeting Under the Moon: Slaying Demons, Let’s Roam the World Together

When news of Li Xun, the young master of Fenxiang Valley, getting married spread throughout Qingyun, Lu Xueqi carved a line into the Viewing Moon Terrace with her sword: “I am no ceremonial offering. I will not marry someone I do not love.” Ghost Li came beneath the moon. After ten years apart, the two reunited amid the rustling of tear bamboo. His words, “Come with me,” shattered Lu Xueqi’s icy reserve, but the name Baguio froze her all over again. The green figure sleeping on the cold stone platform was a sorrow Ghost Li could never carve out of his heart. When Sect Leader Daoxuan used the bonds of their sect to pressure her, and the Ghost King Sect teetered on the brink of disaster amid the Beast God’s turmoil, Lu Xueqi’s refusal to marry became a pawn in the struggle between the two sects. To protect her, Ghost Li used a blood oath to the Soul Devouring Bead to force Fenxiang Valley to abandon the marriage alliance, only to push Lu Xueqi toward an even more brutal choice: Sever her love? With Qingyun’s sword pointed at the Ghost King Sect, she would have to drive Tianya into his chest with her own hands. Betray the righteous path? If the first disciple of Little Bamboo Peak joined the Demon Cult, the Nine Heavens Profound Thunder would destroy every trace of their love. The moonlight fell upon the tear stains still fresh on the Viewing Moon Terrace. “You once said that the next time we met, we would meet with swords…” “This time, my sword will cut your chains.”
