A Love Song Through Time: A Promise to Meet Again

A Love Through Time: The Promise of Reunion

During the 2000 Spring Festival travel rush, newlywed Su Yao was riding home in an unlicensed minibus when an unexpected incident struck as it passed through a mysterious tunnel. After strange lights flickered and a blinding flash hit her, she somehow transmigrated to the modern world, 23 years in the future. Her appearance had not changed, and she was stunned to discover how completely the world around her had transformed.

With the police's help, Su Yao reunited with her former lover, Lin Yu. Now a mature business executive, Lin Yu took Su Yao back to the home they had once shared, filled with memories, and helped her adjust to the new era. But Lin Yu's frequent mysterious phone calls and carefully concealed expressions, along with Su Yao's chance sighting of him sharing an intimate moment with a young man, gradually gave rise to misunderstandings and suspicions. When the truth came to light, Su Yao learned that Lin Yu had remained faithful to her all these years, and that the young man was his younger brother, born because their parents wanted to carry on the family line. Moved and filled with remorse, the two rekindled their old love.

Just as they were preparing for their wedding, the mysterious organization behind the transmigration incident resurfaced. Hoping to uncover the secrets of folded time and space and obtain immense power, the organization set its sights on Su Yao. Torn between returning to the past to change her fate and protecting her love in the present, Su Yao faced a difficult choice, while Lin Yu stood steadfastly by her side. In the end, with wisdom and courage, Su Yao used the special ability her transmigration had given her and joined forces with others to foil the conspiracy and close the rift in time and space. After facing life-and-death trials, the two finally became a couple. Su Yao devoted herself to the study of time and space, and their love story spanning time became a symbol of hope and true love.
