Matriarchy: A Useless Wife! [Ancient Virus]

(The rating just came out, so don’t take it too seriously. It’ll go up over time („ಡωಡ„)) In the magnificent palace of the Qin Xia Dynasty lived a beautiful woman with a graceful figure, dressed in an ornate four-clawed python robe. She looked at the cold-faced man before her with a troubled expression. He was exceptionally handsome and even-tempered, but he was merely the son of a merchant. Su Qingyan had thought her mother would simply make her and her sisters fight among themselves for the throne. She never expected him to make such a bold move and go straight to her mother, the reigning empress of the Qin Xia Dynasty! “Your Highness, this is terrible! Refugees outside the city are rioting and biting everyone they see!” A maid suddenly burst in just as they were preparing to consummate their marriage. Then the maid began to convulse. The next moment, she lunged at Su Qingyan. To the Crown Princess’s utter shock, Xiao Heqian, her husband and Crown Princess Consort, shoved her aside and saved her. Once she was safe, she discovered that people everywhere had gone mad... “Zombies... they’ve really appeared.” Su Qingyan recalled the ancient texts she’d read as a child in the library. The legends said that whenever a dynasty’s fortunes were about to run out, zombies would roam the land. They felt no pain and could only be killed by smashing their heads. Anyone bitten would become one of them in less than half an hour. “My lord, if we survive this, I promise I’ll treat you well...” “You, woman, let’s talk about that after we survive...” “We’ve finally left the imperial city. Husband, let’s hide in the mountains!” “I’m sorry...”
