In Dire Straits: I Found My Future Girlfriend in the Wasteland

In the year 2177 of the New Era, wasteland scavenger Ling Lie discovers a “iron coffin” that has fallen from the future during a mission. The woman who steps out of it, Xi Yue, claims to be a time-space observer from the year 2345. Her arrival upends Ling Lie’s daily struggle to survive on the outskirts of Ash City.

The Ironhand City Lord covets Xi Yue’s future technology and drives the pair into a desperate corner with his pursuing forces. From conspiracies in Ash City to terrifying mutant beasts in the Dead Gobi, from the sparks of civilization in the underground “Forgotten Lands” to clashes with people fitted with mechanical prosthetics, Ling Lie and Xi Yue fight side by side under the wasteland’s cruel laws. When future technology collides with the struggle to survive, and a spark of trust catches fire in the depths of the apocalypse, can they escape their pursuers and kindle the light of a new beginning for humanity on this scorched earth?
