Northeast Two Tough Guys: A Relentless Rampage

Chen Erzhu, a young man from a northeastern village, watches his father die in bitterness after being persecuted by the village head’s brother-in-law. He grabs a manure fork and smashes it into his enemy’s Audi, then sets off a bloodbath in the corridors of the township government to avenge the humiliation. From then on, under the name “Ergun,” he begins his road to a comeback. From the village to the county seat, he uses down-to-earth weapons such as shovels, switchblades, and petrol bombs to fight village bullies, gangs, and capitalist forces. He recruits fellow underdogs, from punk-haired youths and vegetable sellers to old hunters, and builds the “Gun Family Army,” an empire spanning junkyards, logistics, and cultural tourism.

He is a demon king of the underworld: in a bathhouse, he douses enemies with boiling water; outside the county government, he sets up a mourning hall; in Moscow’s Red Square, he sells mink fur. With a ferocity that says he has nothing to lose, he cuts a bloody path through both the legal and criminal worlds. But he is also a grassroots hero: rescuing strays, protecting migrant workers, and blowing up illegal sand-mining sites. With the brutal aesthetic of the Northeast, he defends justice on the black soil. From street brawls to international business wars, from underworld kingpin to legitimate entrepreneur, his life embodies the grit and responsibility of a Northeastern man: “You want to bully ordinary people? First ask the club in my hand if it agrees!”

As an anti-crime campaign sweeps the land and the tide of the times surges forward, Ergun stands at a crossroads. Will he keep writing his legend with violence, or sow a new beginning on the black soil? This grassroots epic brims with earthy passion and dark humor, showing how a tough Northeastern man rises from a village nobody to become the “King of the Black Soil,” a man the world fears.
