The Human Blood Era: From the Age of Witches and Demons to the Burning Ashes

When chaos first divided, Pangu split the heavens from the earth. His essence and blood became the Twelve Ancestral Witches, while the murky energy gathered into the countless beings of the demon race. But the Heavenly Dao fell out of balance, and the Ancestral Witches and demons fought fiercely over the fate of heaven and earth. Mount Buzhou crumbled, and the Heavenly River flooded the world.

Nuwa created humans from yellow earth. Born into a world caught between the warring sides, humanity was branded “mongrels” by the Ancestral Witches and treated as “food” by the demons. The young Ji Ye happens upon a fragment of Pangu’s soul and awakens the bloodline of the world-creator, leading humanity to rise from the ruins of the divine war.

When Gonggong crashes into Mount Buzhou in rage, when Chiyou sacrifices blood to the Jiuli Banner, and when Xuanyuan’s sword strikes down the stars over Zhuolu, Ji Ye makes the backbone of humanity his pillar and the flame of civilization his guide, swearing a world-shaking oath: “Heaven and earth may crumble, our bloodline may be extinguished, but the civilization of Huaxia shall never go out, for ten thousand generations!”
