When the Empress Opened Her Eyes, She Found Her Spoiled Son Had Usurped the Throne

Alternate history + strong female lead + true heroine + no CP + political intrigue + many female officials + one-sided crushes Ji Zhaolin was born a washerwoman. She ruled for 37 years and was praised as a peerless figure in history, brave and bold, always striving to advance. As she put it, she was just an ordinary woman who had transmigrated. With her background in engineering, she simply founded a country and got herself a place in the official histories along the way. After she had settled her affairs and contentedly closed her eyes, she opened them again to see the debt-collector face of her youngest son, Ji Anhe. Without hesitation, she slapped him. “Your Majesty, ” “Guards! Catch the assassin!” She, he, and they all called him the emperor. Ji Zhaolin panicked, because she knew perfectly well that her youngest son was an uneducated layabout who did nothing but fight crickets. He was absolutely not the heir. The ministers panicked too, because their wastrel emperor was shouting “Mother!” as he rushed toward her. The emperor panicked as well, because his resurrected mother had grabbed the royal sword and was chasing him down to cut him apart. Now here's the question: if her foolish son wasn't the culprit, then how had her daughter and granddaughter died? With no other choice, the seventy-year-old woman returned to work, cutting down corrupt officials and taking on powerful clans, finding loyal subjects and solving cold cases, expanding the realm and restoring the prestige of a great nation. P.S. There are tons of female officials, and almost all the good people are female officials of all sorts. Expect political intrigue and struggles against powerful clans. The heroine is a founding emperor and a woman who transmigrated: a short-tempered, brazen scoundrel, an incredible actress and an incredible patchwork of tropes. The main villain isn't stupid, but the heroine will kill without hesitation. The second son is a pure, silly sweetheart, a mama's boy and devoted to his big sister, not a bad kid. The alternate history is very loosely based on history.
