Twin Qi Meridians

Tong Jia Moyu, a modern archaeologist of the Jurchen Tong Jia clan, unexpectedly had her soul transmigrate to the Northern Song, where she became a strange stone in the imperial palace of Bianjing, marked with a Black Bird pattern. She activated the "Mending Heaven, Building Souls System," and could only regain a human body by gathering her soul. At the same time, the Mongol descendant Bo'er Zhijin Mingxuan had his soul transmigrate to a down-and-out scholar in Yingtian Prefecture. He arrived with the "Heaven's Pride System," which granted him perfect recall and sudden enlightenment in martial arts, and resolved to achieve great things in this golden age of civil and military accomplishments.

One was trapped in a stone body, feeding on the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and building up power from the emotional fluctuations of nobles in the palace. The other lived in a mortal body, testing his abilities amid the conflicts of everyday life as he set out for Bianjing to take the autumn examinations and make a living. When the Black Bird Stone revealed its golden-scaled soul before Crown Prince Zhao Zhen and Princess Huirou, and the impoverished scholar entered the capital with the golden finger granted by his System, two souls from different eras began to draw close, bound by their Systems and the red thread of fate. In the Great Song, where the graceful rhythms of Song lyrics mingled with the flash of blades, they would have to unravel the mystery of their own rebirth and become embroiled in court intrigues and struggles between peoples. See how the soul in the stone breaks free of its shell and takes human form, and how the prodigy rises to greatness, together composing a twin-soul legend that spans time and space.
