Soul Pastor: A Necromancer's Redemption Journal

On the continent of Ailan, necromancers are always seen as the embodiment of evil. Sixteen-year-old Alice, however, possesses a power unlike any other: soulflame resonance. To her, the undead are not terrifying monsters, but glowing souls trapped in the mortal world with unfinished wishes. With the halo of her paladin father and the shadow of her necromancer mother intertwined in her blood, Alice chooses a solitary yet compassionate path: she establishes the “Wayfarer's Rest” on the border between light and darkness. Armed with the Soulflame Purification Manual, which lets her hear the regrets of souls, she guides lost undead on their way. She purifies their obsessions and resolves their bitterness, letting their souls bid the world a peaceful farewell beneath the moonlight. When a tide of undead sweeps across the land and the Church's sword of judgment hangs overhead, Alice uses the pure power of soulflame resonance to reveal another truth about life to the entire continent: death is not the end, and redemption knows no bounds. This is a pastoral song composed with soulflame, a gentle revolution for the equality of life and the dignity of the soul.
