Memory Strain: Back to Savage Mountain

Using “memory strains” as its central thread, this story weaves together science-fiction elements including special forces, women, biological weapons, genetic modification, and mind control, offering an allegory for how technology erodes and distorts human nature. Humanist themes: “Memory strains” symbolize clones’ search for their own identities, referring both to Maeda Yuki’s past, divided and sealed away, and to the awakening of consciousness in the K-series, as they evolve from weapons into people.
