Synopsis

On a rainy night when he was fourteen, ordinary boy Gin Ichimaru was driven from home by his family's backward, feudal-minded ways. His uncle, whom he had never met, took him in, and he was gradually swept into the vortex of the Thirteen Divisions! After saying a temporary goodbye to Rangiku, the daughter of the family who ran the noodle shop downstairs, he met Captain Hirako, who slacked off at work to sneak a look at Jump; Kisuke Urahara, running a fortune-telling stall by the roadside; Kaname Tōsen, who said, “I don't eat beef”; Aizen, who seemed gentle but was actually a master schemer; the fiery Hiyori; the stone-faced noble Byakuya Kuchiki... He trains within the divisions and learns to wield spiritual power! A dangerous mission arrives, and the power of his Shinsō gradually awakens! Who exactly is the other “Gin Ichimaru” in his inner world, and what is he after? Urahara's warning, Ukitake's divine oracle, the guidance of another self... Does it all point to an even deeper conspiracy? The family secret art stolen from Rangiku? The secret to attaining immortality? The truth behind his mother's death? The relationship between his other self, his mother, and Aizen? A new timeline, the fate of reincarnation, and feelings that never change... Can he break free from the shackles of destiny? Growing, struggling, forming bonds, transforming, fighting, seeking revenge... There is no escape! There is only battle, to the bitter end! (Roughly follows the original's timeline from the Soul Society arc to the decisive battle in Fake Karakura Town.)

I'd like to read something similar to *The Legend of the Dragon King: Misty Clouds Defying Fate*. It's the author's first time writing a story that's over 80,000 words, and now they want to work hard toward 400,000, aiming for that kind of length. They're bored at home after just finishing their first semester of college, and their writing style...
