The Lazy Witch's Elegant Face-Slapping Routine

[Reborn as a witch, all I want is to lie flat? Fate insists on handing me a face-slapping script!]

Lin Xiaolan rubs the newly sprouted tomato seedlings in her treasure space and rolls her eyes at the noble young lady who has come to pick a fight. What's so bad about being reborn as a witch's apprentice in a magical world?

She loves spending her days teasing the bubble-blowing magical cat and collecting the bread and milk her space produces automatically. Isn't this laid-back life just perfect?

But some people just won't leave her in peace!

The wandering archmage Li Xuanye blocks the doorway, swirling his wineglass as he cuts straight to the point: “My lady witch, your broom needs replacing. At this rate, the villain will have a black magic circle carved into your vegetable patch before you know it.”

A villainous noble young master shows up to cause trouble, brandishing a potion bottle. She retaliates by scattering chili seeds from her space into his spell. With a bang!

Red chilies burst into bloom amid purple flames, leaving the villain hopping around and sneezing from the heat.

Even more absurdly, Li Xuanye, who is always asking, “How can a mortal body wield divine power?”, one day grabs her by the back of her collar. “Ferryman, it's time to wake up.”

Lin Xiaolan takes a bite of her freshly baked honey cake. “Wake up from what? I haven't finished harvesting my vegetables!”

Only when a prophecy scroll unfurls on its own inside her space, bearing the words “The lazybones will ultimately take the helm of fate,” does she finally realize...

Fine, let them face-slap her. She's got ten baskets of magical durians stockpiled in her space, perfect for shutting up anyone who dares to object!
