Barefoot Miracle Healer

Liao Chengjun was left disabled after his polio was misdiagnosed, inspiring him to become a village doctor. In the mountains of southwest China, he established the "Terrace Clinic" and pioneered mobile medical care by carrying medicine in a wicker basket, but soon became embroiled in a vaccine corruption scandal. During a stormy night, an old illness struck as he delivered twins. He fell to his knees but completed the operation, only to discover that the mother was connected to the doctor who had misdiagnosed him years ago. Torn between love and his calling, he exposed the dark side of the medical system. In the end, he turned down a lucrative job in the provincial capital, stayed in the grassroots community, and founded a medical training center for people with disabilities, spending his life putting a doctor's compassion into practice.
