A City Taoist's Scientific Guide to Exorcising Demons

In China's cities in 2035, quantum mechanics unexpectedly merged with Taoist talismans, giving rise to the new field of “quantum mysticism.” Beneath the cities' prosperous surface, supernatural phenomena were unleashed by technological relics left behind by ancient Taoists and alien civilizations. The protagonist's team uses scientific methods to solve paranormal cases and uncover a civilization-wide shadow war spanning millennia. The energy matrix established on Earth by the alien civilization known as the “Taiyi Star Hub” resonates with the Taoist “Bagua Cosmic Cycle” System, causing rifts in spacetime to appear with increasing frequency. The villainous organization known as the “Fuxi Society” seeks to exploit the phenomenon to open a dimensional gateway. The protagonist's team must stop the catastrophe using a blend of folk traditions and science.
