Signing In at Eighty in the Deep Mountains, I Am the Enemy of All

When the eighty-year-old Xuan Cangweng withdrew to the mountains, he accidentally activated a sign-in System, setting the wheels of fate in motion. Once slow and frail, he used the powerful skills he received from signing in to bloom anew, regaining a vitality to rival that of the young. He moved with youthful agility, freely darting through the forest. But his peaceful life did not last. Yingyue, an intelligence sprite, accidentally learned the secret of Xuan Cangweng’s sign-in System. Blinded by greed, she sold the information to Blackthorn, leader of the Darkstar Syndicate. A fervent believer in algorithmic supremacy, Blackthorn considered Xuan Cangweng’s existence a serious threat to the world order. Meanwhile, the mechanical maniac Silverwing joined the hunt because Xuan Cangweng stood in the way of his plans to expand his mechanical forces. Before long, Xuan Cangweng was wanted worldwide and driven into a desperate situation, like a lone goose pursued by a flock of vicious hawks with nowhere to escape. But Xuan Cangweng was not one to sit back and await his fate. Drawing on the power granted by the sign-in System, he grew stronger and launched counterattacks from the brink of disaster, gradually turning the tide. When Tie Feng, a martial arts fanatic, heard about Xuan Cangweng’s exploits, he was consumed by a fierce desire to fight him and threw himself into the conflict, making the situation even more tangled and chaotic. In this fierce collision between the forces of order and those that would shatter it, every battle and every breakthrough left Xuan Cangweng battered and facing immense risks. Humanity, too, was forced to consider this question: between rules and freedom, what should we choose?
