Journey to the West Workplace: Wukong’s Resignation Letter

“O Greatly Compassionate and Merciful Guanyin Bodhisattva, Savior from Suffering, of Mount Luojia at Putuo in the South Sea! That foolish Tang Sanzang told me to leave. Since this pilgrimage is going nowhere, I’ve come to bid you farewell and return to my carefree life on Flower-Fruit Mountain.” With that, Wukong pulled his “Wukong Resignation Report” from his robes and presented it with both hands to Guanyin Bodhisattva, the person in charge of the Journey to the West project.
