Journey to the West: I'm Going to Defeat the Tathagata!

[Journey to the West + Sun Wukong + No System + Decisive and Ruthless + No Investiture of the Gods]

After attaining Buddhahood at the end of the pilgrimage, Wukong looked at the chubby Tang Sanzang and raised his Golden Cudgel. “Master, take a strike from your old Sun!”

At the Heavenly Court's Demon-Slaying Platform, Wukong used his arm to block a dragon-skinning blade and save the Star Lord Kangjin, who had violated the laws of Heaven. “You broke off a horn for me back then. Today, I'll plead for your life!”

At the Green Cloud Palace in the Underworld, he stood before two towering pillars and pointed at Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Listening Truth. “Your old Sun is here to send you both to your deaths.”

Back at the Cave of the Slanting Moon and Three Stars, he was astonished beyond words to find an old acquaintance still alive. “So that's how it is. Who the hell isn't impersonating someone else?!”

Then, ascending once more to Thunderclap Monastery on Vulture Peak, he gazed at the three thousand Protectors of the Faith, five hundred Arhats, eighteen arhats, eight Vajra Guardians, four great Bodhisattvas, and the countless Buddhas, and declared, “I will defeat the Tathagata!”
