The Military Industry in the Dabie Mountains of Bright Sword

In 2025, Chen Chang'an, a doctoral student at the National University of Defense Technology, completed a new weapon with his advisor. While testing it at sea, they were ambushed by a US military squad. With help from his teammates, Chen Chang'an wiped out the entire squad, but a stray bullet struck his heart. After he died, the ancestral safety charm he wore against his chest absorbed a great deal of blood and activated, carrying him as he transmigrated to 1935, where he became a Red Army regimental commander ordered to bring up the rear as the troops crossed the grasslands.

Chen Chang'an roamed the Dabie Mountains, established a revolutionary base and set up an arsenal. When the full-scale War of Resistance began, every soldier in his unit carried a Type 56 assault rifle, and they had everything from grenade launchers to howitzers. The Japanese army's nightmare had begun.
