Ghost Stories: My Neighbor Isn’t Human

Poor Lin Xiaofan inherits a haunted house. After moving in, he discovers that the toilet flushes by itself, food keeps disappearing from the fridge, and the TV turns on at midnight to play The Ring! Even more absurd, all his neighbors are monsters and ghosts: Sadako has become an influencer, the zombies do square dancing every day, and the hungry ghost steals his takeout, then complains that it tastes bad...

To stay alive, Lin Xiaofan is forced to become an “occult middleman,” helping ghosts fulfill their wishes: writing love letters for female ghosts so they can curse their scumbag exes, finding health tips for zombies, and setting vampires up on dates... But every ghost-busting job turns into a hilarious disaster: remixing the Great Compassion Mantra to deliver spirits to the afterlife, getting roasted by viewers for “a ghost behind you making a finger heart” during a livestream, and finding out that the civil-service exam in the underworld asks, “How can we get humans to pay protection fees voluntarily?”...

When an economic crisis hits the underworld, the ghosts and monsters start businesses, and Lin Xiaofan becomes an “underworld business consultant.” He helps Meng Po open a milk tea shop, plans livestream sales for King Yama, and even organizes a “Monster Games”...

This is a goofy, supernatural slice-of-life story about humans and ghosts coexisting, one that will make you laugh until your head falls off. Watch how the poor male protagonist uses his “social-death ghost-busting method” to thrive in both the worlds of the living and the dead!
