[A prickly, socially anxious little tomato vs. a bold, passionate puppy who pursues love head-on]
Love rises on the wind, welcoming the summer sun and melting glaciers atop high mountains.
Wuma Che: Love makes the timid brave. I’ll gladly rise on tiptoe to kiss my unattainable flower.
Helian Yunie: My little tomato is ripe.
When they first met,
Helian Yunie: Marry me. No mother-in-law problems.
Wuma Che: Excuse me, do we even know each other?
She’d pluck at the passing breeze, then tell it, “I’m Helian Yunie, and I’m pursuing Wuma Che.”
Helian Yunie: Remember, I’m pursuing you. I like you.
Wuma Che: My parents don’t want me marrying far from home.
When Wuma Che heard Helian Yunie tell someone else, “Wuma Che is the one I like,” she blushed like a little tomato soaking up the sun.
When proposing, Helian Yunie earnestly pleaded, “My parents are gone, my brother and I don’t get along, my sister-in-law hates me, and I have nowhere to go. Please take pity on me and give me a warm little home.”
Wuma Che raised her brows haughtily and tipped Helian Yunie’s chin up with a finger. “Fine, I’ll take in a pitiful stray like you.”
After they married, the stray became a clingy big puppy.
