Liu Yaowen: switches freely between “puppy” and “big bad wolf”

Nan Sichong: the coming-of-age story of a naive little bunny

[Alternate Universe] [Marriage Before Love] [Love at First Sight] [Love That Grows Over Time]

Liu Yaowen is a huge boost on Nan Sichong's journey to adulthood.

One morning, Nan Sichong wakes up to discover a huge bug in her world: just like she'd always fantasized, she now has a handsome, rich husband.

Liu Yaowen built a business empire abroad. To return home and find his wife, he agrees to take over the family business back in China. He falls for Nan Sichong at first sight and loves her devotedly. He's a hopeless romantic and completely henpecked.

Liu Yaowen gives Nan Sichong a cold sidelong glance. “Back when I loved you, I'd let you have whatever you wanted. But now…”

Nan Sichong scoffs. “Fine. Thanks for telling me you don't love me anymore.”

Liu Yaowen's inner monologue: I'm doomed. I overdid it…

Liu Yaowen lies on top of Nan Sichong like an eager puppy, coaxing her to call him hubby…

Nan Sichong looks at the news, where a ruthless CEO is being reported on, then looks down at the puppy on top of her. She can't bring herself to say it.

Liu Yaowen glances at their son, who's clinging tightly to Nan Sichong's neck. Gritting his teeth, he smiles and tries to reason with him. “Son, didn't you say you wanted a little sister?”

Their son looks at Liu Yaowen, confused, then shakes his head. He doesn't want a brother or sister. “I only want Mommy!”

Liu Yaowen picks up their son and hands him to the butler, then patiently tells him, “You're sleeping by yourself tonight. I'm sleeping with my wife.”

Nan Sichong looks at Liu Yaowen and says nothing.
