Livestream: Running a Farmhouse in the Countryside

[System-driven] [Farming] [Rural escapism] [Business and development] [Anti-hustle life] [Light comedy]

Lu Jiuchuan used to be a finance clerk in a big city, running himself ragged. He couldn't save money, couldn't afford a home, and even his love life was on the rocks. Then, after getting tipsy on a street in Chang'an, he hit the jackpot and was bound to a mysterious "farmstay management System." The starter pack came with a villa, a mountain resort, a luxury car, and ten million in startup funds!

Back in his hometown in Sichuan Province, he ditched his Excel spreadsheets and set out to build the idyllic rural paradise of his dreams:

- Easygoing boss: He livestreams the green hills and cooking smoke every day, while the chat floods with, "The boss is slacking off again."

- Serious business: The System's tasks are tricky: "Attract 100 tourists within three days to earn a mysterious recipe"; "Expand the fishpond to unlock spring-water irrigation."

- Unexpectedly popular: The resort's free-range chickens became online celebrities after drinking spring water, and city folk rushed over to "cultivate immortality."

- His girlfriend is stunned: "You said you were going back home to farm, but you're living in a mansion and throwing pool parties?!"

But Lu Jiuchuan gradually realizes:

Why can the water from the resort's well cure insomnia?

Why is the resort's environment getting better and better?

Why are the resort's dishes getting more and more delicious?

- "Other people grow vegetables, but I grow money trees. The System says they'll grow faster if I water them with beer?"

- "When Lu Jiuchuan the accountant starts using Excel to manage a farmstay, the villagers say: Talk about bringing a cannon to a knife fight!"

- "Late-night karaoke at the resort, with internet celebrities and villagers singing The Most Dazzling Ethnic Style together..."
