The Internet Cafe Legend Rekindles His Esports Dream

Zhou Yi has lived at the “Speed Storm” internet cafe for more than two years, becoming a legend there. He makes ends meet by boosting accounts and streaming games, and has developed an unspoken understanding with the cafe’s owner, Uncle Zhang.

Zhou Yi showed astonishing talent in professional "Survival in Desperate Situations" tournaments and once led his team to second place nationally. But family troubles and a trap in his contract forced him to leave the pro scene.

A young gaming prodigy, Su Yuqing, starts coming to the cafe. Under Zhou Yi’s guidance, her skills improve by leaps and bounds, and the two gradually develop a mentor-student bond and a subtle affection for each other.

Zhao Shijie, the former manager of Zhou Yi’s team, discovers where he is hiding. Using a debt as leverage, he threatens Zhou Yi: either pay up or help the new team cheat. Zhou Yi is caught in a moral dilemma.

The internet cafe faces demolition, leaving Zhou Yi without the only place he can call home. At the same time, he must protect Su Yuqing from being exploited by Zhao Shijie, forcing him to make a difficult choice.
