I'm Trying to Get Myself Killed in Great Ming

After signing an insurance policy, impoverished Lu Xiaochuan transmigrates to the Baigou River battlefield during the Jingnan Campaign in the Ming dynasty. He’ll receive a hundred billion in modern-day funds only if he manages to die in the Ming dynasty. For a hundred billion, Lu Xiaochuan is ready to do whatever it takes. What’s the big deal about dying?

But when he actually tries to get himself killed, he discovers that dying is surprisingly difficult.

He earns great merit during the Jingnan Campaign, exposes Jianwen’s remaining loyalists, helps Zheng He sail to the Western Seas seven times, and even helps Zhu Gaochi ascend the throne. As for the so-called God of War of Great Ming and the Emperor Who Knocked on the City Gate, get out of here!

When he finally gets close to death, he’s astonished to discover that the Ming dynasty’s dragon banner seems to have been planted all over the world.
