Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils: The Sweeper Monk

A modern young man transmigrates to the Northern Song Dynasty and awakens a powerful physique with the Martial God System. At the Great Xiangguo Temple, he encounters the Old Man of Heavenly Secrets and uses modern physics to interpret the two classics, Muscle-Tendon Transformation and Marrow-Cleansing. On his first journey through time, he enters the body of the automaton Xuanchen and learns the highest martial arts. On his second journey, he travels to a parallel world, kills a Khitan grandmaster at Yanmen Pass and obtains the Lingbo Weibu. At Lake Tai, he battles Murong Longcheng and comprehends the Great Shift of the Stars, ushering in a new era of martial arts. He takes four disciples and teaches each a peerless art: Wuyazi masters the Northern Darkness Divine Skill, Wu Xingyun trains in the Eight Desolations and Six Directions, Li Qiushui studies the White Rainbow Palm, and Qi Yufeng learns the Lingbo Weibu. After grasping the true essence of martial arts, he seals away his power and lives in seclusion at Shaolin. Forty years later, he witnesses his disciples’ strife and offers guidance to Murong Bo and Xiao Yuanshan in the Scripture Library.
