I Asked You to Simulate a Crime, Not Commit the Perfect One

Wang Ming Jie transmigrated into a world where the entertainment industry had developed differently from the one he came from. At the time, he was taking part in a simulated-crime show called Everyone’s a Witness. Once filming began, he used the differences between the two worlds’ entertainment industries to create several perfect crimes and locked-room murders that left the police and detectives racking their brains without ever finding the culprit! Wang Ming Jie pioneered crimes in the Blizzard Manor style. The detective-fiction world can’t do without him, just as the West can’t do without Jerusalem! The show was originally meant to deter crime and warn the public, but Wang Ming Jie’s arrival threw everything off script and left both the police team and the detectives tearing their hair out. Fortunately, Wang Ming Jie wasn’t a real criminal. But thanks to Everyone’s a Witness, he became a sensation! When the show ended, everyone assumed he would pursue a career in detective fiction. Instead, he turned the show’s murder plots into a novel and began making a movie! And so Wang Ming Jie rode the wave of Everyone’s a Witness straight into showbiz!
