[The Longest Day in Chang'an + Fantasy Westward Journey + Comedy + System + Beautiful Women Galore + Brown-Noser + Drama Queen + Chasing Her Husband + Sweet and Angsty] [Slow-paced, not invincible, not a wish-fulfillment story. Read with caution if that is not your thing.] Work, work, all day long, yet my pockets are empty. They work the night watch; I go out to work. Screenwriter Xiao Zuofeng died when his keyboard short-circuited, then transmigrated into the world of The Night Watchman. Though a woman, you care deeply for the realm and its people.” “Your humble servant only wishes he had met Your Highness sooner. I am honored to have the chance to see you now.” “I, Xiao Zuofeng, swear to follow Your Highness, the Eldest Princess, to my dying breath. The sun and moon can witness my devotion, and heaven and earth can attest to my sincerity!” The Eldest Princess: ... Everyone knows that the Eldest Princess is as cold as a refrigerator, peerlessly beautiful, devoted to the realm, and ambitious, with the makings of a great emperor. But many years later, on another Mid-Autumn night, a song titled “Puppet Strings” drifted out from Yao Hua Palace. “May your heart be like mine, so that our love will never be in vain.” “...” “You gazed at me with tenderness and kissed the tears from the corners of my eyes.” “…” P.S. This is based on the TV drama, not the original novel. The genders of a few characters have also been changed. Please don’t flame me if you dislike it.
