After Six Months as an Intern, I Married My Mentor

A workplace story. Everyone's on holiday, right? I've prepared some mental nourishment for you all, so please enjoy.

The intruder was a man.

He had an important work assignment to prepare that day, so he arrived at the office early.

Thinking the office would be empty, he hurried in to grab a file.

At that moment, he froze in place, his gaze meeting Su Lele's panicked eyes.

"Ah!" Su Lele screamed again, tears instantly welling in her eyes. "Who are you?! Why did you come in without knocking?" she cried, her voice trembling with embarrassment and alarm.

The man finally came to his senses. His face turned bright red, and his embarrassment and guilt were plain to see.

He hurriedly turned around, his back to Su Lele, and stammered, "I-I'm sorry! I really didn't know anyone was in here. I was in a rush to get a file, and I impulsively pushed the door open and came straight in. I'm so sorry!"
