Zenless Zone Zero: The Deadpool of New Eridu, Season Two

(A fun story, continuing from the previous season, which has been updated through 1.4.) A Zenless Zone Zero fanfiction spin-off about the story of a Red Fang Gang proxy and the gang, recounting the legendary tale of Caroleus, a proxy for the Red Fang Gang. This season begins with Volume Six. After Carole's plan to rob the Public Security Bureau of its evidence during Public Security Patrol Month failed in the previous season, an Ether crystal pillar pierced his body. He became a monster, neither human nor Ethereal, and gained the abilities of a Revenant. He then went through many events. The second season tells the story of Carole and his companions after they take part in the Nata Defense War and return to their original World Bubble. They become involved in events with the parallel universe's administrator (a program structure) and the Hollow Special Operations Section 6. Meanwhile, an internal power struggle among the space administrators gradually triggers a major crisis, one that will continue to shape the story later on. This story follows the game's original plot more closely, including its PVs, while also adding original content. During the Old Civilization, an unprecedented and unknown Hollow disaster consumed and destroyed Old Eridu. But humanity, both wise and resilient, rebuilt the city and named it “New Eridu,” creating intelligent constructs such as Bangboo. Reports on Hollow characteristics indicate that Hollows are supernatural disasters that devour everything. Their internal spaces are distorted and filled with monsters and Ether matter. Ether matter poses a risk of corruption: prolonged exposure can transform intelligent life into Ethereals, and even intelligent machines cannot escape corruption and transformation. Yet it is also a valuable resource. New Eridu mines and processes Ether matter for energy, distributing it throughout the city via the Shear Towers. Thanks to Ether resources and technology, New Eridu has managed to “fully control” every Hollow within its borders.
