This fantasy novel draws primarily on the style of Western fantasy literature, using a Western fantasy setting as its foundation while incorporating elements of Chinese literature. It tells the story of the continent of Losdia, home to humans, dragonkin, dwarves, elves, goblins, orcs, giants, and other races. Decades after the War of the Chaos Gods, the Northern Coalition, made up of orcs and goblins, once again launches an invasion against the kingdoms of humans, elves, and other races. Against this backdrop, an unexpected upheaval turns the once-united human kingdoms’ lords against one another. Meanwhile, key figures from various races, including Karole, Kais, and Fukanina, embark on their own adventures. Many languages in the novel, including those of the Northern Coalition and the House of Saint Delomir, were created based on real-world languages such as English and Russian. Some of the plotlines also blend elements of Chinese and Western history with imaginative inventions.
