Siheyuan: Reborn in 1958, I Hunt to My Heart's Content

Lin Yu accidentally transmigrates to a courtyard house in 1958. The moment he arrives, he activates a miraculous Hunting System and begins a life that is both unusual and exhilarating. But the targets he hunts aren't just wild beasts: they also include the troublesome “beasts” who live in the courtyard. Jia Zhangshi is as unreasonable and shameless as ever, often muttering about her deceased family members. Lin Yu fires back until she has nothing to say, claiming he'll help “dig them up.” Terrified, Jia Zhangshi stops provoking him. Yi Zhonghai is always going on about respecting one's elders, trying to guilt-trip Lin Yu, but Lin Yu won't fall for it. Instead, he shows his “concern” for Yi Zhonghai's need for calcium in an unusual way, leaving him unable to complain. Liu Haizhong is set on becoming an official and keeps asking Lin Yu to recommend him, so Lin Yu teases him by arranging for him to become the “head of the toilet department.” Yan Bugui is always looking for a small advantage, so Lin Yu plays along, joking about a manure cart and hinting that Yan should skim a little off the top. In this courtyard, the confidence granted by his Hunting System allows Lin Yu to bring the schemers and troublemakers who are always stirring things up to heel. Amid the everyday bustle and strife, he writes a uniquely cheerful story of his own, transforming the atmosphere of the entire courtyard in the process.
