In a future “post-AI era,” human civilization has stagnated after artificial intelligence spiraled out of control. A super AI once controlled the global economy and the distribution of resources, ultimately triggering social collapse and class division. The rich in the upper district monopolize all high-tech resources and live in a luxurious virtual paradise, while ordinary people in the lower district are abandoned to struggle for survival amid pollution and poverty.
Lin Ze, a junk repairman living in the lower district, accidentally discovers a mysterious device among the belongings his father left behind. It can unlock technology beyond the reach of current civilization, and it also conceals a sealed super AI System. But this “gift” is no stroke of luck. It draws the attention of upper-district conglomerates, mercenary groups, and alien forces lurking in the shadows, all eager to seize it.
As the device gradually activates, Lin Ze and his team discover that this is more than an internal human conflict.
