Warhammer 40K: The Secret of the Second Legion

**The Life and Deeds of Qi Zhengyuan** ### 1. Early Years As an Imperial son, Qi Zhengyuan was lucky to escape the mysterious abduction that befell the other Primarchs during a turbulent period. His rambunctious nature had led him to hide while playing with his wet nurse. He later entered the Imperial Military Academy, where he received rigorous training and education. At the academy, he first demonstrated exceptional talent for infantry command and for training assault infantry units. He had a keen eye for tactics, excelled at assessing battlefield conditions, and could devise efficient battle plans. ### 2. Return and Leadership of the Second Legion After the Emperor found him again, Qi Zhengyuan was appointed Primarch of the Second Legion and tasked with leading and training it. He applied the knowledge and experience he had gained at the academy to building the Legion, focusing on discipline, teamwork, and combat skills. He personally took part in training the soldiers, leading by example and inspiring them to grow stronger. ### 3. Cooperation with the Adeptus Mechanicus On Terra, one branch of the Adeptus Mechanicus was exploring power weapons alongside its work on chain weapons. Thanks to his good relationship with the archbishop of the Terra branch, Qi Zhengyuan secured a large supply of power weapons for the Second Legion. These included tactical wolfbrush spears, ceramite bulletproof shields, power Qi family sabers, power ox-tail sabers, power spears, and power forks, greatly increasing the Legion’s combat strength. Fully aware of their importance, he actively encouraged the Legion’s members to familiarize themselves with the new equipment and master it, and developed tactics suited to these weapons.
