The Adventures of Tatta the Mouse

Tata can shrink down, leap out of a phone, and travel between the online and real worlds. The story also features seven-year-old Song Xiaoxiao, a silver-haired mouse named Tiantian, an ugly cat with a big face, and a bulletin board. It’s part fairy tale, part wild imagination, and full of positive energy. Note: (1) This is the Song Universe’s Song Xiaoxiao story, featuring a seven-year-old elementary school student. (2) It may have pioneered a writing style precise down to the minute, with the novel’s fictional world and the real world running on the “same clock.” (3) As a companion piece to The Tale of the Frontier Pearl, it popularizes Song Duoduo, the young female minister from the Pearl. This gives the playful, romantic Song Universe, with its ancient and modern versions of Song Duoduo and Song Xiaoxiao, a common origin. The two stories complement each other across time and space, reaching toward eternity.
